Arnold Jack West, 80, of Dulatown Road, Lenoir died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005. He was born April 25, 1924 in Wilkes County to the late John West and Elvira Foster West. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Keeter West, two brothers, Leonard and Ted West and three sisters Vernice Arms, Orene Burrell and Verlie Crump. Mr. West was retired and a member of Lenoir Church of Christ. Survivors include four sons, Eddie West and wife Linda of Lenoir, Greg West of Charlotte, Zane West of Lenoir, Sean West and wife Montene of Lenoir a daughter Kathi West of Lenoir, N.C. two brothers, John Foster West of Boone, N.C., Jimmy West of Marshall, N.C.
Funeral services will be held at Pendry's Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 15, 2005 with Rev. John Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends on Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Pendry's Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kerry West, Kyle West, Donald Wilson, Jimmy Whisnant, Ricky Staley, Bobby Franklin.
