Dau of I M West and Mary A Gooden; 2nd Wife to John McKeehan, Stepmom and Mother.
Lou and John were married in 1894. Bride Lou, received a ready-made family as John was a widower with (4) Sons and (1) Dau from his first marriage to his cousin Elizabeth Ellen McKeehan. Lou quickly became a loving step-mom to all John's children and soon she presents John with one more son.
In 1900, John is a Farmer; He owns his farm and farmhouse Mortage free and in 1910 we find him working in the coal mines.
Then In 1919, Lou (aka Lewe) dies at age 63 from a serious kidney disorder, Chronic Interstitial Nephritis. By this time John has returned to farming, and still owns his property with no encumberances.
