OCR text: EMILY WEST Emily West was the daughter of John C. and Elizabeth West, born in Indiana, April 15, 1848, and was of a family of eight children of whom only three survive G. W. West, Houston, Mrs. Belle Stark, Seattle, and C. W.
West, Knobnoster, Mo. She was married to Chas. McCue, May 27, 1868, to which union three children were born W. Addela and Walter B. McCue. Addela died at the age of four years plus. Mr. McCue died in 1886 and she was married again, her second husband being Henry Wilhite who died some 10 years ago. She united with the Christian Church early in life, remained faithful in her membership and, dying, leaves to mourn for her, two sons, eight grand-children, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, a sister and many other relatives. Mrs. Wilhite passed away Aug. 5 at the home of her son, Walter McCue, in this vicinity, at the age of 79 years, three months and 20 days. The Rev. H. F. Kern of Pleasant Hill conducted funeral services at the East Lynne Christian Church, Sunday, at 2:30 and interment was in Strasburg Cemetery. Christian and Presbyterian Churches
