Mrs Allen died Thursday at her home only four days after the death ot her husband. Herman I Allen sr. A native ot Nashvitte. she was a daughter ot John C. and IsabIle DeHaver West. She attended Nashville public schools and was married in 1898. Mrs. Allen was a member of Reid Avenue Church ot Christ. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs Rebecca McCallum, Mrs Louise Shelton and Mrs. Ruth W'illiarns all of Nashville; two sons Jarnes W. Allen and Herman I. Allen both of NashviIlle: two sisters Mrs Johnnie Neal and Mrs Sarah Andrews both of Nashville: two brothers, Calvin Le West, Ocala, Fla and Wiillis M. West. Birmingham. 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
