OCR text: Shirley Frances West. Cremation has taken place for Shirley Frances West, 75, of Santa Maria. Private inumment will be at a later date. She died of natural causes Nov. 11, 1996, at a local care center. Mrs. West was born Aug 4, 1921, in Seattle, WA. She worked as a veterinarian assistant for more than 21 years in the Los Angeles area. Mrs. West moved to Santa Maria in 1986. Survivors include her children Barbara Penman of Saugus, and Craig West of Santa Maria; brother Ray McCabe of Palos Verdes; sister Peggy Bergstrom of Colorado; eight grandchildren; and eight great -grandchildren.
