OCR: Charles D. West VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. Charles West, a former resident of Vicksburg, died Saturday, Nov. 11, 1989, in Virginia Beach, Va. He was 65. Mr. West was a graduate of Carr Central High School in Vicksburg and a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory Virginia Beach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave West, and a sister, Kathleen Harris. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Cook West of Virginia Beach; two daughters; one son; and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives including Sue Barnett and Davey Barnett, both of Vicksburg.
