Manley Edward West, age 92, of Green Forest, AR passed away in his home on Monday, September 3, 2018. He was born May 18, 1926 in the Orrell Community to the late Seaman Edward and Lena May (Mead) West.
Manley was a dozer operator and had been employed for R. C. Chaney for a number of years. He loved farming and worked hard to make a living for his family. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie Cannon West of the home, son, Gary Allen West Sr. of Green Forest, grandchildren, Robin West and Gary Allen West Jr. of Green Forest, great-grandchildren Andrea Conner, Anthony Conner, Cheyenne West, George Cross and great-great-grandchild, Maestro Fear. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration Of Life Service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with interment following at Pickens Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday, September 5th at Smith Family Funeral Home.
