George West, jr., of Yeadon, Pa. Arcadia Girl Is Army Bride ARCADIA, Sept. 15. (Special.) Miss Barbara Wittbecker, daughter of Capt. and Mrs. Frank Wittbecker, was married to Pfc. George H. West, Jr.. in a home wedding at the suburban Wittbecker home at Sunset 6ept. 8. The Rev. Bruce Lauenborg performed the double ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father and was attended by Miss Gloria Hull as maid of honor. Ed Frazier of Buckingham fieia was best man and Andrew Savazano lighted the tapers on the cathedral candelabra before the rites were solemnized. The bride wore her grandmothers wedding dress of ivory China silk made with tight bodice, very full skirt with brief train. She carried an old-fashioned nosegay of large white mums bordered and showered with button chrysanthemums. Assisting Mrs. Wittbecker at the reception were Miss Betty Ann Pierce. Miss Celia Blount, Miss Marge Huff, Miss Barbara Coker, Miss Joyce Moore and Mrs. A. M. Hendry. After their brief honeymoon at West Coast resorts the couple will reside at Fort Myers near Buckingham field where Pvt. West is stationed. The bride is a native Arcadian and a member of the 1945 high school graduating class. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George H. West of Yeadon, Pa.
