West, Pearl Harold, age 102, of Madisonville, originally of the Epperson community went home peacefully, Friday, October 30, 2015. A member of Epperson Presbyterian Church, but attended Bethlehem Baptist Church after moving to Madisonville in 2008.
Survivors: Daughters and sons-in- law, Verda & John Cavender, Albermarle, NC, Cindy & Donald Torbett, Madisonville, Suzy Holliday, Tellico Plains, Sons and daughters-in-law; Carson and Ann West, R.B. And Sandra West, Gennie West, Rhonda West, all of Coker Creek, June West, Tellico Plains, 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren, Sister, Oneta Graves of Jonesboro, Ga., Brother, Hobert West, Dozier, Ala., Sister-in-law, Francis Hamby, Turtletown, Tn., Loved by numerous nieces and nephews and anyone else he met. We can't wait to see his sweet smile again. Preceded in death by wife of 62 years, Beatrice Edwards West. Sons, Burkett, Raymond, Denton, and David, Grandchildren Tracy West, Zach West, Tammy West, parents, James Sumner, and Ollie Webb West, Sisters, Mary Debity, Ethel Collins, Jewell Taylor, Anna Dalton, Brothers, Homer & Lester West, Daughter-in-law, Judy West, Son-in-law, Sammy Holliday. “A father who loved and was loved by all his children and grandchildren. Nothing made him happier on this earth than to have a baby in his arms.”
Funeral 7 P.M. Sunday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Frank Hicks officiating. Interment 11 A.M. Monday, Epperson Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-7 P.M. Sunday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
