OCR text: DERIDDER - Services for Tammy Sue Cardy will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Beauregard-Vernon. Burial will be in Rosepine Cemetery. Ms. Cardy, 36, of Rosepine died Thursday, May 13, 1999, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria. She was a native and lifelong resident of DeRidder. She was owner and operator of Tumbleweed Lounge in Leesville and attended DeRidder High School. Survivors include one daughter, Tashann Whitney Wolford of Rosepine; her father, Roxy C. West of DeRidder; her mother, Gloria Sue Weeks of Rosepine; two brothers, Kenny L. Beckwith of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Richard C. West of Eudora, Kan.; maternal grandmother, Mrs. O'Neal Horton of DeRidder.

The Chico Enterprise-Record - OCR text: 200 Guests Attend Double Ring Services Of Sandra L Powelli John David West Some 200 guests attended the wedding of Sandra L Powell and John David West of Willows in Redeemer Lutheran Church June 10 Rev Robert Schwermann pastor conducted the 2 pm double ring ceremonies The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs L A Powell of 615 Alder St while the bridegroom is the son of Mr and Mrs John West of Willows For the event the church wu decorated with white chrysanthemums The- bride was given in marriage by her father The new Mrs West was dressed in a flow length Empire style peau de soie gown appliqued with daisies and seed pearls and made by her mother Her six tier veil that ended n a train wu appliqued by daisies and was held in place by a crown of daisies The matron of honor wu Mrs Leonard Knecht bride's sister dressed in a pale yellow dotted swiss floor length gown She wore a couple of daisies in her hair as did the other attendants Elizabeth Wetter of Chico and Mrs William Miner of Sacramento Their dresses were similar to the matron of honor's Allan West of Willows brother of the benedict served u best man Ushers were Shelty Green and Craig Sousa both of Willows Mrs Robert Schwermann played chimes prior to the ceremony and then a wedding march Following the rites the reception was held at the Chico Women's Clubhouse that had been decorated with a center piece on the punch table of white chrysanthemums yellow and white daisies flanked by two candles The five tier wedding cake was trimmed with yellow daisies and had been made by Mrs Lloyd Timmons For the event the bride's mother chose a persimmon cedar-ed sheath and cage of pure silk and an overcoat of persimmon chiffon With the outfit she wore white accessories The bridegroom's mother wore a blue lace two piece dress and matching blue accessories Assisting in the serving dur ing the reception were Mrs Harry Stone Sarah Stone and Mrs Minnie Glander cut the cake For her going away outfit the bride had changed to a white linen suit accented with black buttons and blade accessories Following the newlyweds honeymoon in the LakeTahoe area they will make their home in Chico Mrs West is a Chico High School graduate of 1963 and had attended Yuba and Sacramento Colleges She is a member of Bethel 82 International Order of Job's Daughters and is employed by Pacific Tel phone Her husband is a June business administration graduate of AMC Hum dm IhmvM Sr Lkmrt UMnicftr
